Women in Agriculture - 9 August 2012
In between the research requests, the taking-care-of-details for Saturday's tea, the meetings, and the admin stuff that's been waiting while we focused on the tea, I've been thinking a little bit about the display we'll have at the Fall Fair in September: Women in Agriculture.
It will look at the role that women have played in the Valley's agricultural history, so everything from working in the fields and orchards, to working in the packing sheds and preserving local produce for home and sale. We'll also look at some notable ladies, such as Amy Kelsey.
So here's the question of the day: if you were creating that exhibit, who or what would you insist on including?
