I'd like to invite you to a special event we're having just for local residents:

On May 31 and June 1, we're offering special admission rates for local residents - just a toonie for anyone who lives in the Creston Valley. We hope you'll come down and join us - take your first tour of the Museum this summer (or maybe your first tour ever!). We'll have refreshments too, of course.
Why are we doing this? Because we want to give you a special opportunity to check out everything that's new down here at the Museum! New exhibits, new gift shop, new books on local history...
And, if you'd like a more in-depth look at what we do, and how and why we do it, join me at 12:00 or 3:00 each dayfor special Curator's Tours. I'll be leading these ones myself, and, in addition to lots of local history, I'll give you an insider's look at the work and planning that goes into our exhibits. Space is limited on the Curator's Tours, though, so if you're interested, sign up soon! Just call or email - 250-428-9262 or mail@creston.museum.bc.ca.
So come on down - it's Local's Day from 10:00 to 3:30 on both days.

Join us on Saturday June 8th, from 10:00AM to 4:00PM, for an old-fashioned carnival at the Creston Museum. Events include a fortune teller, treasure hunt, magician, trivia challenge, ring toss, and face painting. Admission is free, and there are lots of great prizes to be won. Don’t miss out on a fun (and educational) day for children of all ages.
